Who I am

With over 20 years of experience in digital product design, my journey has been deeply shaped by a lifelong passion for exploring diverse cultures through extensive international travel from a young age. Firsthand exposure to different perspectives and ways of life around the world instilled in me a unique cross-cultural empathy. This naturally led me to User Experience Design, where I focus on translating complex requirements into inclusive, human-centered digital experiences that truly resonate with varied global audiences.

What I do

I partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business leaders to transform ambiguous problems into intuitive digital products. My work spans product discovery, user research, interaction design, prototyping, design systems, usability testing, and iterative delivery across enterprise and consumer platforms.

  • U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS): Led a 6-person design team on a $100M+ immigration modernization initiative; delivered the UI solutions, vision, and accessible design system for legacy ELIS and refugee/asylum platforms, resulting in faster workflows and significantly reduced user errors.

  • Amazon (AWS FinTech): Designed enterprise-wide, WCAG-compliant solutions for financial pricing standardization, establishing scalable style guides that ensured consistency and alignment across global stakeholder teams.

  • UnitedHealth Group / Optum: Spearheaded multinational healthcare analytics standardization efforts funded by the NCQA, establishing company-wide UX standards and design systems that optimized complex government reporting processes.

How I work

I lean into complex, highly regulated environments by bridging technical constraints with human-centered design principles.
